With the State Advisory Board on Wednesday fixing the upper age limit for nursery admission, many parents have found themselves in a fix.
The board has decided that “for pre-school, the child should not be more than 3 years, 11 months and 30 days, as on March 30 of the start of academic year in which the admission is sought”.
Many parents who could not get their wards admitted to the school of their choice last year and were hoping to do so this time, will now not be able to do that.
However there is nothing to worry as this is only State Advisory Board recommendation and there is no official notification yet.
