The oldest University of Nepal, Tribhuvan University (TU), with total students' strength of almost 4 lacs, and LPU have signed a Memorandum of understanding for promoting quality education to students of their respective countries.
This collaboration will commence and facilitate academic research, student/faculty exchange, and high technology transfer between the two universities. In this regard, TU’s Rector Prof Guna Nidhi Nyaupane, Registrar Dr Chandra Mani Poudel and the Executive Director Centre for International Relations TU Dr Bal Mukunda Bhandary visited LPU to sign the MoU. The visitors met LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal, Pro Chancellor Ms Rashmi Mittal, Vice Chancellor Dr Ramesh Kanwar and other senior functionaries to have mutual discussions. They also had talks with many Nepalese students who have already been studying at LPU under different study programmes of their choice.
The MoU was signed by TU Rector Prof Nyaupane & LPU Registrar Dr Monica Gulati, on behalf of TU & LPU, respectively.
