The Staff Selection Commission is all set to advertise one lakh jobs posts across India in the year 2013-14.
The Commission is hopeful to fill up one lakh vacancies by 2014. In addition to the vacancies, SSC is also undertaking additional recruitment for government organizations like the Food Corporation of India (FCI) and Prasar Bharati.
The ratio of recruitment against number of applicants pan-India is 1:102. SSC is responsible for carrying out vacancies for posts of constables in Central Armed Police Forces, sub inspectors, 100 Left wing extremism-affected and militancy-affected districts all over the country apart from the basic recruitments of teachers, professors, research analysts etc.
