Addressing the CBSE schools district level meet, Bhaskar Ghanti, district coordinator, said that the authorities with an effort to increase transparency and provide a secure question paper delivery environment to schools, it was decided to implement an online exam management system from the current year. The integrated test management system (ITMS) will help schools generate unique question papers online instantly.

Since ITMS works on a web interface, schools will have to register themselves online from February 1 to15. Then, from March 11 onwards the schools can start generating question papers online.

He added that ITMS will provide each school with two sets of unique question papers for all major subject. With these question paper sets ready, schools will have three options. First, they can choose any one of the sets and administer the SA-II. Second, they can mix and match questions from those two sets and create a new paper. The final option is for schools to prepare their own question paper adhering to the weightage pattern given by CBSE.
