PPSC likely to change PCS Mains exam syllabus

Punjab Public Service Commission is considering changing the pattern as well as the syllabus of PCS Main Examination which will come into effect from next Examination year.

This is being done to bring all the candidates on same playing field irrespective of their educational background primarily with the aim to assess holistically the knowledge of individuals, importance being given to aspects which assist an individual to perform his/ her role as a civil servant more effectively. Special care will be taken so that all relevant subjects have been covered in the draft syllabus.
