The Election Commission of India recently announced elections to the legislative Assembly of Karnataka on 5 May 2013. The said date coincides with the date of conduct of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test, Under Graduate, 2013 announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education on behalf of the Medical Council of India and the Dental Council of India in September 2012.
To avoid any inconvenience to the candidates and public in the State of Karnataka, it has been decided by the Central Board of Secondary Education to postpone the date of conduct of NEET-UG, 2013 in the State of Karnataka only to 18 May 2013.
The examination in all other states and abroad will be conducted on 5 May 2013 as per the existing schedule.
