Allahabad University has decided to consider CAT scores for admissions to MBA courses from 2015, following the decision of the Academic Council (AC) of the varsity.
Till now, the entrance examination were conducted by authorities of Allahabad University for Currently the MBA programmes taught at Motilal Nehru institute of business administration (MONIRBA) and MBA in rural management offered by Govind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute (GBPSSI).
The admissions to MBA (rural development) programme offered by GBPSSI will also be made through an all-India entrance test, which will be conducted separately by the university.
The best option would be decided after having discussions with director of Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) followed by consulting various other institutions such as Xavier Institutes and KIIT University, Bhubaneswar told Director of GBPSSI, Pradeep Bhargava.
