The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is all set to start study centres at 11 major jails of the state to provide education to jail inmates. The university is already providing this service at five jails in the state all free of cost.
There is a planning to provide 18 certificate courses to the inmates in all these 11 study centres.
