Madan Lal Memorial Polytechnic or MLM Polytechnic is the outcome of the vision of Seth Madan Lal Bansal Ji. He was philanthropist and wanted to contribute towards the upliftment of the poor. MLM Polytechnic serves that purpose today through Shri M. L. Memorial Education Society (Regd.) Badhni Kalan-Moga (Punjab). MLM Educational Society was founded in memory of Late. Shri Madan Lal Bansal. MLM Polytechnic was established in July 2008 keeping in mind its aim of 'Removal of Economic Backwardness through Technology'. Towards this commitment the MLM Educational Society admits 70% of students every year from Rural Areas. MLM may sound like the Infamous Multi Level Marketing Organisation but contrary to that the polytechnic is meant to uplift the weaker sections of the society. Being an institute of technical education, Madan Lal Memorial ITC (industrial training centre) is affiliated with Directorate of Technical Education and Industrial Training Punjab, Chandigarh. It runs courses in ITI streams as mentioned on this page. It is also recognized by AICTE. Also known as MLPC i.e. Madan Lal Polytechnic College, its campus is spread over 22 acres of green land. It has beautiful building for College, Hostels, Swimming Pool, Sports and Gymnasium Hall Complex. There are hostels for boys and one for girls offering all amenities and basic services.
