Shri Guru Harkrishan Public School Asal Autar Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society came into existence in Ist April 1994. The foundation stone of the school building laid by S. Kirpal Singh (formal President of Chief Khalsa Diwan). The school is co-educational covers an area of 2.5 acre imparting education from grade Pre-Nry to 10th. Our school is affiliated to PSEB Mohali up to 10th std. School comprises beautiful building, Clean environment, good requisite furniture, play equipments. It has 30 well ventilated airy class rooms. It has spacious play ground. School has science lab to provide scientific knowledge, computer lab to provide technical knowledge, music room to give melodious touch to life. School aim to provide quality education. A team of 35 trained, hardworking & qualified teacher providing value based education to approximately 1100 students in this remote & backward area. It lays specially stress on Sikh history & Sikh culture. Divinity classes are organized here religious function and Gurpurabs are celebrated here. Many other functions like, sports, annual, academic, functions are organized. Indian festivals, National days are celebrated every year. Every effort is being made for the overall development of the students. School has been showing excellent results in 10th std board examination.
