The admissions for new session begin in January. The availability of forms and other details are updated on school website and can also be obtained by calling or writing to school office.

Procedure

Admission is open to classes LKG to VII at Don Bosco High School. The school aspires to produce students who are excellent in academics as well as moral, social and ethical values, skills and attitudes to contribute positively to the society. The admissions will be strictly based on availability of seats in various classes.

AGE Criteria

The eligibility criterion for various classes is based on the age of the child. For the next academic year the applicant's age as on 31st March, as recorded in the birth certificate will determine the eligibility for admission to a particular class.

Registration

The registration form, duly filled in all respects, should be submitted to the school along with the required documents and Registration Fees in cash with purchase of forms.

Registration form is not transferable and only the form, issued by the school, should be used for the registration of your child. Parents are requested to go through the Prospectus and Admission Information booklet carefully before filling the registration form Incomplete or illegible Registration Form will not be accepted. It is advised that parents fill the Registration Form themselves. The applications will be scrutinized and only those found complete in all respects will be selected for Observation/Assessment. Intimation of the exact date and time, along with the Admit Card and the Identity Card will be provided at the time of submitting the Registration Form. Applying for registration/admission does not imply admission, which is subject to Observation cum-Interaction/Assessment. It is also subject to the availability of seats.

Documents Required for Registration

• The Registration Form with a recent passport size color photograph of the candidate pasted on the form.
• Both the copies of the Admit Card with recent passport size color photograph of the candidate pasted on each.

Documents Required for Registration

• Photocopies of the Birth Certificate (Issued by Municipal Corporation or any competent Govt. authority/Govt. Hospitals. Certificate issued by private doctors, nursing homes etc., will not be accepted).
• The Registration Form will be rejected if any discrepancy is found between the particulars filled in the form and the supporting documents. Originals will be required for verification at the time of admission only.

Admission

Regular Admissions:- The regular admissions are carried out based on availability of seats, eligibility criteria and aptitude evaluation of candidate for the applied class.

Girl Child:- School salutes the endeavor of parents and provides all possible support to parents who have decided to provide complete formal education to their girl child. School will provide 20% waiver on admission fees of a girl child. Moreover, it will also provide 20% waiver on monthly fees if there is a sibling of this girl child studying in the school and that too is a girl.

Special Child:- The school provides all required facility for physically challenged children and understand the difficulty that parents face in the upbringing. A complete waiver on admission fee is provided to parents of such children.

Right to Education:- The school does not discriminate against a weaker or deprived student of this community and hence we admit 10 students in class 1 every year whose parents reside within a radius of 3 Km. These seats are finalized based on a lottery method and the selected students are notified through phone and names displayed on notice board.

List of all shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the notice board of the school or be informed to the parents orally. The parents of successful candidates will be required to contact the administrative office for the completion of admission formalities by depositing the required fee and other charges along with the necessary documents.

• School leaving/transfer certificate and previous year's Report Card (without this no student from Class II onwards will be admitted).
• Medical Certificate
• Birth Certificate, in original, to be brought for verification only.
• AADHAR Card
• Recent passport size color photograph of the candidate and both parents.
• Admission will be cancelled if any variance is found between the particulars filled in the Registration Form and the documents submitted for admission.
