Eligibility:

B.Com. or Grad (Honours) in Economics/Management

Intake :

46 Seats-General Category, 16 Seats- Partially Self Financed Category, 3 Seats:Defence/Ex-servicemen-1Seat;  Physically Handicapped-1 Seat; Sports/NCC/NSS-1 Seat.  Under General and Partially Self Financed Category 50% of the seats are for Mangalore University candidates, 40% of the seats are for the candidates from Karnataka State other than Mangalore University, 10% of the seats are for the candidates outside Karnataka State.

Duration :

Four semesters (two years)

Eligibilty :

Candidates shall have passed the three year B.Com/B.B.M Degree Examination of Mangalore University considered as equivalent thereto provided they have obtained not less than 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate excluding language subjects.

Those candidates who already possess a Master Degree in any subjects and apply for admission to Masters Degree in Commerce shall be eligible for admission only after all other eligible candidates have been considered..

Each Student has to  opt  for an optional stream in the Third semester and has to study four papers, two each in the 3rd and 4th semester respectively, offered under the opted stream.
