Eligibility

Candidates with the following qualifications are eligible for admission to M.Sc. course in Electronics on the basis of written test and viva-voce as per rules framed by the University in this regard. B Sc graduates with Physics or Electronics as major/optional subject with 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) aggregate excluding languages, provided they have also studied Mathematics at the PU level are eligible for admission to the M Sc Electronics programme. The admission shall be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and the marks secured in the entrance test (as per the rules framed by MangaloreUniversity) to be conducted by the University.

Semester – II

1. Analog Integrated Circuits
2. Advanced Microprocessors and Microcontrollers
3. Computer Organisation and Networks.
4. Programming in C++
5. Linear IC Experiments
6. Advanced Microprocessor and Software experiments

Semester – III

1. Instrumentation and Electronic Systems Design
2. Digital Signal Processing
3. Analog and Digital Communication
4. Optical Fibre Communication
5. Instrumentation and Digital Signal Processing Experiments
6. Communication Experiments

Semester – IV

Practical Training and Project Work (Dissertation) for a period of 24 weeks.
