About Manav Bharti University - MBU

Manav Bharati University is a State Private University in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. Manav Bharti University is established under Himachal Pradesh State Legislature Act and notified under Section 2 (f) of University Grants Commission (UGC) Act 1956. MBU is located in the rural backdrop of Himachal district Solan. Manav Bharti Charitable Trust played a crucial role in the establishment of Manav Bharati University. The University is also recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Bar Council of India (BCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The Manav Bharti Charitable Trust is a non-profit making Trust. The Trust provides facilities regarding poverty, education, medical relief and any other object of general public utility not involving the carrying on of any activity for profit. It also provides scholarships, fellowships, stipends and other monetary help to deserving students. MBCT has established various educational institutes for spreading quality education at economical prices.

Manav Bharati University Facilities

Hostel Facility - The MBU has fully furnished accommodation for our students within the campus.  The University’s hostels are managed by resident male and female wardens respectively. There is solar water heating system in every hostel, reverse osmosis water purification system / Aqua guard for drinking water.

Library Facilities - The MBU has well equipped library and housed more than 20,000 titles pertaining to various subjects. The University has subscribed many national and international Journals and it has access to latest publications of the research material and information through 150 computers connected to World Wide Web.

Net / wi-fi Facilities - The Manav Bharati University’s entire campus is wi-fi internet connectivity. Subsequently, students can maximize their learning and computer skills by constant use of their laptops for research, making notes, submissions and presentations.

Sports’ Facility - The University has set up good facilities regarding sports’ activities. To facilitate these sports, there are grounds for volley ball, basket ball, lawn tennis court; badminton court and table tennis etc.

Health & Medical Facilities - The MBU offers Health facilities both for staff and students. It has also a dedicated ambulance / van for emergency cases within the campus.

Cafeteria - The cafeteria in the Institute offers a complete range of services such as breakfast, lunch and dinner and FMCG products, confectionery items, assorted drinks, tea/coffee, fast food, fried snacks, mini meals etc.

Gym Facilities - The University has a well equipped and maintained gym with modern workout machines. There are separate time slots both for gents and ladies to use the facility.

UPS Facilities - The Institute has dedicated HT power supply, generator backup and 30 KVA UPS especially for the computer labs.
