B.Tech. Applied Electronics and Instrumentation or Bachelor of Technology in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation is an undergraduate Electronics and Communication Engineering course. This is an advanced branch of engineering in which students are trained to handle any situation associated with instrumentation and is widely developing to involve day to day life activities. An instrumentation engineering degree program teaches students basic engineering principles to operate and maintain automated systems and instruments used in a wide range of industries. Course addresses sensors, circuits, power sources, controls and networks of various electronic systems. Course prepares students to calibrate and maintain the sensors and control equipment present in any industrial plant such as power plants, refineries, compressor stations, or water treatment facilities. This is a rapidly changing field that will require updated skills and knowledge to work with the latest computer based equipment commonly being used in the industrial control area. The duration of the course is four years and it is career orienting in nature that provides many jobs for them after its completion.
