M.A. Urdu or Master of Arts in Urdu is a postgraduate Urdu language course. It covers the areas regarding Urdu literature: society, poetry, prose, drama, novels, grammar etc. The duration of M.A. in Urdu is mostly of two academic years but it may vary from institute to institute. During the course the main emphasis is given on the Urdu language and literature, its development through the phases of History and the syllabus is divided into four semesters. It provides lot career opportunities to the candidates in Urdu speaking business communities.
M.A. Urdu Eligibility
- The candidates should complete their B.A. degree under any recognised University in Arts stream with Urdu as one of the subjects.
- The marks of admission for this course may vary from University to University.
