AILET 2013 - All India Law Entrance Test acronym as AILET is conducted on National level for Providing admission to 70 out of 80 of 5 years integrated BA LLB course of National Law University, Delhi only. However 10 (ten) seats are left for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit.
The asprining candidate should be at least 10+2 with not less than 50%. However candidates who are appearing in the +2 exam in March/April of the respective appear are also eligible to apply.
Note:- Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination.
Candidates must be below 21 Years as on 1st July of the respective year of admission.
AILET consists of questions from the following given topics.
Basic mathematics and
Legal and logical reasoning.
All India Law Entrance Exam is multiple-choice based entrance exam, with negative marking for wrong answers. It will consists of 150 question of one mark each which have to be completed in 1 Hr: 30 Min's time.
General Knowledge (Current Affairs, G Science, History, Geography, Economics, Civics)
Mathematics (Numerical Ability)

How to apply for AILET?
Interested candidates may apply along with a Demand Draft of Rs.2,500 (Rupees two thousand five hundred only) for General Candidates, Rs.1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) in case of SC,ST and Person with Disability (PD) drawn in favour of “REGISTRAR, NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI", payable at Delhi alongwith copies of requisite Caste/PD Certificate.
There is no application fee for Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST category (copy of BPL certificate from competent authority to be enclosed with application).

The candidate shall secure minimum of 40% (30% for SC and ST candidates) of the total marks in the AILET to become eligible for the admission. The University reserves the right to keep the seats vacant if there are no candidates who secured minimum cut off marks.
If two or more candidates secure the same percentage of marks in the AILET, their merit will be determined in the following manner and order;
On the basis of Percentage of marks in the Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 S ystem) / Higher Secondary School or its equivalent recognized by the University
On the basis of Percentage of marks in the X standard
Elder in age will be preferred

At least 30% of the total seats shall be filled by eligible horizontal reservation for women candidates including those selected in reserved and foreign national categories.
