MAH-LLB 3 Years CET 2022 - Maharashtra Bachelor of Legislative Law Common Entrance Test acronym as MAH LLB 3 Years CET is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra for admission to the First Year of Full Time 3 Years LL.B programs in every Government, Aided and Unaided law college of the state.

MAH-LLB 3 Years CET 2022 Eligibility  

Educational Qualification

  • Aspiring candidates should have passed a graduate and or postgraduate in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 45% marks for open category candidates and 40% marks for SC and ST category candidates belonging to the state of Maharashtra only. Or
  • Aspiring candidates should have obtained a 10+2 (Higher Secondary) Certificate or First-Degree Certificate and or Post Graduation Certificate by Distance or Correspondence Method.

MAH Law CET Exam consists of questions from the following subjects/topics.

Legal Aptitude and

Logical Reasoning

  • This subject will test the candidate’s interest in the study of Law, Legal aptitude, and problem-solving ability.
  • Questions will be framed with the help of legal prepositions and a set of facts to which the said prepositions need to be applied.
  • Some prepositions may not be true in the real sense.
  • Candidates will have to assume the truth of these prepositions and answer the questions drawing well-supported conclusions.

General Knowledge of

Current Affairs

  • The topics such as History, Geography, General Science, Economics, Civics, and Current Affairs of the past One Year.
  • The subject is to assess the knowledge of the recent happenings and awareness of the World. 

 

 

Logical and

Analytical Reasoning

  • The subject is to test the candidate’s ability to identify patterns, logical links and rectify illogical arguments.
  • It will include wide analogies, completing arguments, drawing well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogy, and applying principles or rules.
  • Further, the subject is to measure the ability to understand the structure, and relationship and to draw logical conclusions about the structures.
  • It includes reasoning deductively from the set of statements and rules or principles that describes the relationship among persons, things, or events.

 

 

English

  • This section will consist of questions on the areas like Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms, analogies, etc.)
  • Proficiency (Idioms and Phrases, one-word Substitution, Sentence Improvement, and rearrangement, Fill in the Blanks, etc.)
  • English Usage Errors (Common errors, Spotting errors, inappropriate usage of words, spelling mistakes, etc.)
  • English Comprehension with a minimum of two passages followed by Five to Ten questions that test reading and reasoning abilities.
