Eligibility Conditions

• The Applicant should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
  
  
• B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing, Post Basic Nursing with the minimum of 55% aggregate marks; 5% relaxation in marks shall be given for SC/ST/OBC Applicants.
  
  
• Applicant should have undergone training in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  
  
• Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons Nursing. 

• Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing. 

• Should have one year of experience in a hospital of at least 100 beds or a teaching hospital or in a College (or) School of Nursing (or) in a Community Health Programme after registering in the State Nursing Council. 

• The applicant shall be medically fit. 

Reservation of Seats 

• Other Backward Class: 27%
• Scheduled Caste: 15%
• Scheduled Tribe: 7.5%
• If the requisite number of suitable Applicants is not available to fill up the seats reserved for the SC, Applicants belonging to the ST and vice-versa will fill the same. 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of Applicants for admission to Master of Nursing Course will be made in the following manner. 

• Master merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained at the entrance exam, Counseling and selections shall be made subject to the procedure of reservation prescribed in the regulations. 

• Applicants belonging to the reserved categories will compete for reserved seats among themselves. A final selection list will be prepared for these categories on the basis of their performance in the selection test. 

• All the Qualified Applicants at the M.Sc. (Nursing) Entrance Test may attend the counselling. 

• Admissions shall be closed as per the Indian Nursing Council Regulations. 

Fee Structure

• Course Fees – Rs.35000/- Year; Hostel Fees (Optional) – As per Institution Policy Electricity, Food charges should be borne by the individual Applicants based on their consumption. 

Application Form 2018

• Applicant aspiring for admission to M.Sc. Nursing Program shall have to apply in the prescribed application form that is complete in all aspects on or before the last date of submission and appear in the written entrance exam followed by the interview at Institute of Liver and Biliary Science, New Delhi on the date and time advertised by the Institute. 

• Application Fee of Rs.1000/- once paid will not be refunded even in case of his/her application is rejected.
