Tezpur University, Tezpur Invites Applications for Admission into MBA Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into two year full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program for 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

• A bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate or in major subject from a recognized Indian or foreign university/ institution.
  
  
• Students in their final year of degree courses and expecting to submit the proof of passing the qualifying examination with required percentage of marks by 15^th Nov, 2013 may also apply. 

How to Apply

• Tezpur University application form together with the prospectus can be obtained:
  • By visiting Tezpur University website (http://www.tezu.ernet.in/). Application may be submitted online. Procedure for online submission of application fee can be found from the appropriate link given in the website.
    
    
• From the designated branches of Punjab National Bank at Dibrugarh, Guwahati (Fancy Bazaar, Zoo Road, Bhangagarh), Jorhat, Tezpur and Tezpur University campus by paying Rs.710(For SC/ST Rs.360) in cash. Submission of Tezpur University form either online or hardcopy is mandatory within the due date.
  
  
• Late submission of forms: Tezpur University forms will be available with late fee of Rs.200 for MAT applicants only. The application forms may also be submitted during the following period with a bank draft of Rs.200 as late fee in favor of the Registrar, Tezpur University payable at Tezpur. 

Selection procedure

• Candidates should appear in either Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) to be held from 11^th Oct, 2012 to   6^th Nov, 2012 or Management Aptitude Test (MAT) to be conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) on 2^nd Dec, 2012.
  
  
• No other MAT score will be accepted. Candidate must include Tezpur University as a choice in the CAT voucher or the MAT application form.
  
  
• Short listed candidates based on CAT or MAT score will be asked to appear in a group discussion and personal interview at Tezpur at their own cost.

• Last date of submission of TU application form (without late fee): 16^th Nov, 2012 (Friday)
• Issue of the prospectus and receipt of the application forms (with late fee): 10^th Jan, 2013 (Thursday)
