Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi Invites Applications for Admission into DM/MCh Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into three years Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Hepatology and Master of Chirurgical (M.Ch) in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery for 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

For DM in Hepatology Program

• Candidates holding MD in General Medicine or Pediatrics from an Indian university recognized by the institute or diplomat of National Board in General Medicine/Pediatrics or any other examination approved by the institute for this purpose from time to time.
  
  
• The candidates should have passed the MD exam prior to the date of entrance examination failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the entrance examination. In case the candidate is waiting for the results, unable to enclose the pass certificate, he/she can mention the same in the application and will have to submit the pass certificate compulsorily to the Controller of Examinations one day before the entrance test and collect the hall ticket.

For M.Ch in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Program

• Candidates holding MS in General Surgery from an Indian university recognized by the institute or diplomat of National Board in General Surgery or any other examination approved by the Institute for this purpose from time to time.
  
  
• The candidates should have passed the MS exam prior to the date of entrance examination failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the entrance examination. In case the candidate is waiting for the Results, unable to enclose the pass certificate, he/she can mention the same in the application and will have to submit the pass certificate compulsorily to the Controller of Examinations one day before the entrance test and collect the hall ticket. 

How to Apply

• Candidates may download the application forms and prospectus from the official website.
  
  
• Application form duly filled in with all necessary documents attached should be submitted in person or sent by post to the:

  on or before the prescribed date along with a demand draft for Rs.2500 payable at New Delhi, in favor of the “Director, ILBS, New Delhi”. 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of candidates for DM/M.Ch in RRT will be on merit based entrance test.

• Last date to receipt filled application form: 31^st May, 2013 (Friday)
• Date of written entrance examination: 7^th Jul, 2013 (Sunday)
