Alagappa University, Karaikudi Invites Applications for Admission into M.Phil Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full-time Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) program offered in various departments for 2013-14. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates passed with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the qualifying degree are eligible to apply.
  
  
• Candidates without the minimum marks are totally ineligible
  
  
• All selection is provisional only until fulfillment of all eligibility and other requirements. 

How to Apply

• Application  form can be obtained from the registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi –630003 on requisition along with a crossed demand draft for Rs.500 (Rs.250 for SC/ST applicants on submission of a copy of community certificate) drawn in favor of there, Alagappa  University payable at Karaikudi by post or in person. 

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the entrance examinations and qualifying degree. The provisionally selected candidates will be intimated by post. 

Important Dates

• Last date for submission of application form: 1^st Jul, 2013 (Monday)
• Date of M.Phil entrance test: 7^th Jul, 2013 (Sunday)
