Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University (SGBAU), Amravati Invites Applications for Admission into Law Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into 3 year and 5 year Bachelor of Law (LL.B) programs for 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

For 5 year LL.B program

• Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) with English or an Examination recognized as equivalent thereto, and have obtained B in aggregate (relaxable up to 5 % in case of students of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes).
  
  
• Candidate having less than 45 % marks but not less than 40 % marks in aggregate at the 12th Std. examination shall be eligible for admission after he/she has qualified on securing minimum 50 % aggregate marks in the eligibility test conducted by the University.

For 3 year LL.B program

• Candidates should have passed the examination for the bachelor’s degree in any of the faculties of the University or any other statutory University or examination recognized as equivalent thereto or last higher examination specified under the rules approved by Bar Council of India with 45 % marks in aggregate. 

How to Apply

• Application form with information brochure will be available at the website of the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati.
  
  
• The LL.B. E.T. Fees of Rs.200 in cash shall be either paid atthe University Counter during office hours or same may be paid in D.D. drawn in favour of “Registrar, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati” and deposit it at  University counter. 

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be done on the basis of Bachelor of Law Eligibility Test (LL.B-ET) conducted by the university. 

Important Dates

• Last date to submit application at Central Administrative Service Unit: 30^th Jul, 2013 (Tuesday)
• Date of written examination: 4^th Aug, 2013 (Sunday)
