Thapar University (TU), Patiala Invites Applications for Admission into B.E/B.Tech Programs 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into first year (second semester) of Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) and Bachelors in Engineering (B.E) programs for January 2015.

Eligibility Conditions

• BE/ B.Tech program of a recognised  university and have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from recognized board and have secured at least 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer science/Biology/Biotechnology.
  
  
• Candidate should have qualified TU entrance test with at least 20% aggregate marks (15% for SC/ST candidates)
  
  
• Candidate should be a citizen of India.

How to Apply

• Candidate should apply on the prescribed application form on or before the last date.

Selection Procedure

• The admission shall be made on the basis of merit of entrance test to be conducted by Thapar University.

Important Dates

• Last date of receiving filled in application form: 1^st Dec, 2014.
• Date of online entrance exam: 19^th Dec, 2015 to 21^st Dec, 2015.
• Declaration of merit list: 1^st Jan, 2015.
• Date of counseling for admission: 6^th Jan, 2015.
• Date of commencement of classes: 7^th Jan, 2015.
