Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology (SLIET), Longowal Invites Applications for Admission into B.E/M.Tech Programs 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into 4 years Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in various disciplines of engineering and technology, lateral entry to B.E and 2 years Master of Technology (M.Tech) programs for 2015.

Eligibility Conditions

For Lateral Entry to B.E Programs

• Diploma program in any discipline from SLIET or from any other polytechnic affiliated with any State Board of Technical Education and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), securing 55% marks (50% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories).

For M.Tech Programs

• B.Tech/ B.E/ B.Sc (Engg.) degree of recognized university/institute in the appropriate branch.

Selection Procedure

For B.E programs

• Admissions will be done through JEE (Main). Selection will be based on the basis of their performance in their SLIET Entrance Test (SET) conducted by the institute for lateral entry to B.E programs.

For M.Tech

• Admission to M.Tech will be through Centralized Counseling for M.Tech (CCMT-2015).

Important Dates

• Closure of online application: 31^st Mar, 2015.
• Date for SET: 26^th Apr, 2015.
• Declaration of result: 11^th May, 2015.
