Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB), Bangalore Invites Applications for Admission into M.Sc Program 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Science (M.Sc) program offered in Bioinformatics & Applied Biotechnology for 2015.

Eligibility Conditions

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech, BE, B.Sc, MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm, BAMS) in any subject of science/technology such computer science, chemistry, Pharma, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Biotechnology, Zoology, Botany, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Agriculture, Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Sciences.
  
  
• The applicant is required to obtain at least 50% (overall) in his/her bachelor’s degree. There is no age bar for applying.

• Application fees is Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- if applied before 28^th Feb, 2015).
  
  
• Application fee can be paid through cash or by a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of ‘Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology’ payable at Bangalore.

Selection Procedure

• First round of selection is by a simple, multiple choice online entrance test that can be taken from any place (even from your home).
• Second round of selections is via an interview at IBAB. Only candidates who qualify in the entrance test will be called for an interview at Bangalore.

Important Dates

• Last date for online application: 11^th May, 2015.
• Date of online entrance test: 03^rd Jun, 2015 to 05^th Jun, 2015.
• Date of interview: 29^th Jun, 2015 to 4^th Jul, 2015.
