Institute of Bioinformatics & Applied Biotechnology (IBAB), Bangalore Invites Applications for Admissions into M.Sc Program 2016

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Science (M.Sc) program offered in Bioinformatics & Applied Biotechnology for 2016. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Bachelor’s degree (BTech, BE, BSc, MBBS, BDS, BPharm, BAMS) in any subject of science/technology such computer science, chemistry, pharma, physics, mathematics, statistics, biotechnology, zoology, botany, biochemistry, microbiology, agriculture, medicine, dentistry or veterinary sciences. Students who are expected to complete their course by June/early July 2016 are also eligible.
  
  
• The applicant is required to obtain at least 50% (overall) in his/her BACHELOR’S degree. There is no age bar for applying.

• Application fees is Rs.500/-.
  
  
• Application fee can be paid through cash, NEFT or by a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of ‘Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology’ payable at Bengaluru.

Selection Procedure

• First round of selection is by a simple, multiple choice online entrance test that can be taken from any place (even from your home).
  
  
• Second round of selections is via an interview at IBAB.
  
  
• Only candidates who qualify in the entrance test will be called for an interview at Bangalore.

Important Dates

• Last date for online application: 09^th May, 2016.
• Date of online entrance test: 01^st Jun, 2016 to 03^rd Jun, 2016.
• Date of interview: 27^th Jun, 2016 to 02^nd Jul, 2016.
