Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D 2016

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programe for year 2016.

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Electrical Engineering
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) Biosciences & Biomedical Engineering 

Eligibility Conditions

For Ph.D in Electrical Engineering Program

• Minimum first class master degree in the relevant discipline of the Engineering/Technology.
                                 Or
  Minimum first class bachelor degree in the relevant engineering/ technology discipline from a reputed Institute with a valid GATE score.
                                  Or
  B.Tech degree from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with a minimum CPI of 8.0.
                                  Or
  Minimum first class master degree in the relevant discipline of Science with valid GATE qualification or UGC/CSIR-JRF qualification or equivalent fellowship.

For Ph.D in Biosciences & Biomedical Engineering Program

• Minimum first class master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering/ Electrical / Electronics /Mechanical / Biomedical /Chemical / Biotechnology/ Signal Processing/ Aerospace.
                                      Or
  Minimum first class bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Biomedical/ Chemical/ Biotechnology/ Signal Processing/ Aerospace Engineering with a valid GATE qualification or UGC/CSIR-JRF or equivalent fellowship.
                                       Or
  B.Tech degree from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with a minimum CPI of 8.0

• Application fee is Rs.100/- to be paid through State Bank Collect.
  
  
• Application fee can also be paid through a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of "Registrar, IIT Indore" and payable at Indore.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are strongly encouraged to report for the written test and/or interview for Ph.D in Electrical Engineering program.

Last date for applying online:

• For Ph.D in Biosciences & Biomedical Engineering: 30^th Jan, 2016.
• For Ph.D in Electrical Engineering: 02^nd Mar, 2016.
• Date of written test and/or interview for Electrical Engineering: 05^th Mar, 2016 to 06^th Mar, 2016.
• Date of interview for Biosciences & Biomedical Engineering: 19^th Feb, 2016 to 20^th Feb, 2016.
