TNPSC Group IV Exam 2017 dates released

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission released official notification for Combined Civil Services Examination (Group-IV) to be conducted for filling Executive Officer Grade-I posts.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Aspiring should possess a degree in arts or science or commerce and also a degree in law from any university or institution recognised by the UGC.
• Applicants should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.
• Only persons professing Hindu Religion as required by 'Section 10' of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 (Tamil Nadu Act, 22 of 1959) are eligible to apply.

Age limit:

The age of the candidates should not exceed 35 years and must be minimum 30 years. Relaxation in age will be provided as per the government norms.

Selection procedure

Selection will be made in two successive stages:

• Written examination
• Oral test in the shape of an interview

Final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants in the written examination and oral test, taken together, subject to the rule of reservation of appointments.
