CUSAT CAT 2018 exam on April 28

Cochin University of Science and Technology has released the examination dates for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2018 on the official website i.e cusat.nic.in

As per the official notice, the CUSAT CAT 2018 will be held on April 28 and April 29.

The exam is conducted every year for admission in the UG, PG and PhD programmes of the university in various streams of academic and professional education.

How to apply?

Aspiring candidates can visit the official website i.e cusat.nic.in and follow the instructions given there to apply for the same.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

• For B.Tech programmes:
  The candidates should have completed class 12 from a recognised board or institute.
• For LLM programmes:
  The candidates should have a graduation degree in Law from a recognised university or institute.
• For MBA programmes:
  The candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute.

The scores of CUSAT CAT can be used for admissions into the following programmes:

• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Photonics
• Computer Science
• BTech
• Lateral entry to BTech
• Masters of Technology (MTech)
• Five-year Integrated Bachelor of Commerce.
• Bachelor of Laws (BCom LLB) Honors
• Bachelor of Business Administration
• Bachelor of Laws (BBA LLB) Honors
• Master of Arts (MA) Hindi
• Economics
• Lateral entry to MCA
• Dual degree programme of LLM (IP) PhD and LLM (IPR)
• PhD programmes

The university has three campuses: two in Cochin and one at Pulinkunnu, Kuttanad, Alappuzha.
