NIFT Entrance Exam 2018 admit cards released

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has released the admit cards for the entrance examination 2018. All those candidates who have applied for the same can visit the official website and follow the instructions given there to download the same.

The national level design entrance test will be held on January 21, 2018.

Examination schedule:

• Bachelor of Design: CAT (10 am to 1 pm)
• Bachelor of Design: GAT (2:30 pm to 4:30 pm)
• Master of Design: CAT (10 am to 1 pm)
• Master of Design: GAT (2:30 pm to 4:30 pm)
• Bachelor of Fashion Technology: GAT (10 am to 1 pm)
• Master of Fashion Technology: GAT (10 am to 1 pm)
• Master of Fashion Management: GAT (10 am to 1 pm)

Entrance examination:

Based on the choice, all eligible candidates will have to appear for a written entrance examination at the examination centres opted by them. The written entrance examination is designed to test the knowledge, skill and aptitude of the candidates for the programmes they will opt.

Reservation of seats:

The seats reserved for SC/ST/Person with Disability (PWD)/Foreign Nationals/SAARC/NR/State Domicile, in each programme are as under:

• SC: 15 per cent
• ST: 7.5 per cent
• OBC (non-creamy): 27 per cent
• Person With Disability (PWD): 5 per cent

Important dates:

• NIFT written entrance exam for UG and PG courses: January 21, 2018
• Declaration of Final Result: End of May/June 2018
• Counselling process: May/June 2018 onwards
