AP Gurukula Patasalala Common Entrance Test (APGPCET) 2018 Notification

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into 5th Class in all AP Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions (APSWREI), AP Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions (APTWREI), AP Residential Educational Institutions (APREI) and MJPAP Backward Classes Welfare Residential Educational Institutions (MJPAPBCWREI) for the academic year 2018-19 across the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Last date of Online Application: 20^th Mar, 2018
Test will be held on 08^th Apr, 2018 (11.00 AM to 01.00 PM)

Eligibility Conditions

During the year 2017-18 applicants must be studying 4th class in a Government school or in a school recognized by Govt.of A.P.

Students are eligible to apply for admission in their native district only.

Native District of the applicant means the place where the student studied for a period of two years in Class 3rd & 4th i.e. during 2016-17 & 2017-18 in schools recognized by Govt.of A.P. OR native place as certified by the competent authority.

The parental income should not exceed Rs.100000/- per annum as per the latest income certificate issued by the Competent authority.

Age Limit

OC/ BC/ SC-Converted Christians (BC-C) should have born between 01^st Sep, 2007 to 31^st Aug, 2009. SC/ ST students should have born between 01^st Sep, 2005 to 31^st Aug, 2009.

Reservation

78% of seats reserved for ST community including PTGs,

OC (2%), BC(5%),SC (12%), and AEQ(3%)

The student should clearly mention the school in which he/she wants to join i.e., APSWR/ APTWR/ APREIS/ MJPAPBCWR while submitting the application. The student should mention clearly the school opted in the online application through online.

Exam Scheme

Admission will be given as per merit obtained in APGPCET (Common Entrance Test)-2018. District wise Merit List will be prepared separately for boys and girls.

The test will be held on 08^th Apr, 2018 from 11.00 A.M. to 01.00 P.M. for maximum marks of 50.

Admission test will be held in the subject’s –

Telugu (10 marks)
English (10 marks)
Mathematics (10 marks) and
Environmental Science (20 marks)

Based on the State Syllabus of class IV of A.P. State Govt.

The questions will be in objective type (Multiple Choice Questions) and will be in English/ Telugu/ Urdu Medium. Test will be conducted in the selected centers of the district.

Hall Ticket

The applicants can take print out of hall ticket after submission of the application and the same has to be produced at the examination center for his/her personal identification.

All the students who are seeking admission into class V should apply online through website apgpcet.apcfss.in from any internet Center (or) at help desk of any APSWR Institution/APTWR Institution/APREI/ MJPAPBCWR Institution from 22^nd Feb, 2018 to 20^th Mar, 2018.

The student should clearly mention the school in which he/she wants to join i.e., APSWR / APTWR / APREIS / MJPAPBCWR while submitting the application.
