Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala PG Dental 2018 Notification

Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala has invited applications for PG Dental Entrance Exam for admission to MDS courses 2018 session.

Eligibility Conditions

BDS degree from an approved Dental College and duly awarded by any one of the Universities in Kerala or duly recognized by the Govt. of India as equivalent there to under the Indian Dentists Act, 1948, and who has obtained permanent registration from the Kerala State Dental Council after passing the final BDS Exam or its equivalent there to with eligibility for full registration in Kerala State Dental Council in all respects.

Applicants who have completed one year (12 months) Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship (CRRI) as per DCI regulations in an approved/recognized Dental College on or before 31st March 2018 are eligible to apply.

The condition of one year Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship is not applicable to those applicants who had passed their final BDS Exam on or before 1988 and hold a BDS Degree from a Dental College recognized by the DCI and have obtained provisional or permanent registration from the Kerala State Dental Council.

Age Limit

There is no upper age limit for General Quota (GQ) applicants.

For Service applicants from the Dept of Health Service (i.e., the applicants whose retirement age is 56 years) the upper age limit will be 48 years for PG Dental Courses as on 01^st Jan, 2018.

But they shall serve the Govt. of Kerala in any capacity which the Government deems fit after their retirement, up to the age of 60 years.

For MES applicants, upper age limit will be 52 years as on 01^st Jan, 2018.

Selection Mode

The selection of the applicant shall be made from the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala on the basis of NEET MDS 2018 rank list subject to satisfying the eligibility conditions as in Clause 4 of the prospectus.

Application Fee

All applicants seeking admission to the MDS Courses 2018, Kerala can apply in the online application form in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Exams.

The prescribed fees can be remitted either by online payment or at any branch of State Bank of Travancore using preprinted chalan or by way of DD for the requisite amount drawn from a Nationalised Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

If the payment mode is Challan or DD, the original copy of the Challan or the original DD, as the case may be, should be sent along with the printout of the application.

Application Fee for General Quota and Service Quota applicants is Rs.1000/- and in the case of SC/ST applicants and those eligible for SC/ST benefits as per GoI is Rs.500/- (should pay extra Rs.1000/- for Service Quota); and application fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Last Date of Submission of Application and Application Fee: 14^th Mar, 2018
Last Date for the Submission of Online Application: 14^th Mar, 2018 (05.00 pm)

Application Process

All applicants who have qualified in NEET MDS 2018 seeking admission to the MDS Courses 2018, in Kerala should apply online through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations from 05^th Mar, 2018 to 14^th Mar, 2018, 05.00 pm.

While applying online, the applicant should upload the scanned image of his/her signature and the documents/certificates in PDF format, as per the instructions given in clause 8.2.4 of the prospectus.

Applicants are advised to keep the printout for future reference. No need to send the printout of the application or any supporting documents to the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
