The Indian Railways has received over two crore applications for filling up about 90,000 posts in group C and group D.
Out of total 2 crore applications 50 lakh online applications are for Assistant loco pilots and technicians.
To maintain the transparency in such a magnitude exam the candidates will be given a window to check their answers after the completion of the exams and after the results are declared.
Railway Recruitment Exam Pattern
Candidates would be required to appear in a Computer Based Test or CBT. Based on the performance in the CBT, which would be a 90 marks paper with negative marking, candidates would then be called for medical test or Physical Efficiency Test or PET.
Question papers will be provided to the candidates in 15 languages -- Hindi, English, Urdu, Bengali, Punjabi, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Assamese, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Tamil and Telugu -- to ensure opportunities for candidates across India.
