Mizoram University Engineering Entrance Examination 2018 (MZUEEE-2018) Notification

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admissions into B.Tech and B.Tech (Lateral Entry) for the session 2018

B.Tech Program

Eligibility Conditions

10+2 (Class XII) Exam or its equivalent from any recognized board having secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST applicants)

Those appearing in the Higher Secondary or 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent Exam in 2018 may also appear in MZUEEE 2018 provisionally.

Age Limit

Only those applicants whose date of birth falls on or after 01st October 1993 are eligible.

However, in the case of SC/ST&PWD applicants, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC/ST & PwD applicants who were born on or after 01st October 1988 are eligible.

Date of birth as recorded in the Sec. Education Board/University Certificate only will be taken as authentic.

Syllabus: As per JEE Main 2018

B.Tech Lateral Entry Course(3rd Semester)

The applicant can apply in only one department in case of lateral entry.

Eligibility Conditions

3year diploma holder in engineering in relevant branch with a minimum of 60% (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST applicants) marks may apply for lateral entry; those appearing in the final examination in 2017 may also appear in MZUEEE 2018 provisionally.

Application Form

Prescribed application forms will be available in the office of the Controller of Examination, Mizoram University during office hours on payment of Rs.700/- (Rs.350/- for SC/ST applicant) in Cash or through Demand Draft (DD) in favour of “Controller of Examination”, Mizoram University.

Application Forms can be obtained through post by remitting Rs.50/- extra as postal charges from Controller Office. Form downloaded from University Website should be submitted with required Fees.

After completion and submission of the online form, filled-in form in PDF format will be generated. Applicant must submit the printed copy of the filled-in form along with all necessary documents to the following address The Assistant Registrar (Academics), Administration-I, Mizoram University, Aizawl-796004.

Last Date of Submission of Hard Copy of Application Form: 23^rd May, 2018 (Wednesday)
Date of Entrance Exam: 11.00 am to 01.00 pm on 05^th Jun, 2018 (Tuesday)
The announcement of Result: 06^th Jun, 2018 (Wednesday) (Regular and Lateral Entry)
1st Counselling – Regular: 06^th Jun, 2018 (Wednesday)
