DU Admissions 2018 under sports quota: Sports trials to begin from third week of June.

The registration  process for UG courses has been started by University of Delhi (DU) from May 15. The online registration process will be concluded by June 7 and the sport quota admissions will start after the same.

The trials are likely to begin by the end of the third week of June. Last year, the sports trial started on June 27 and this year it will be conducted during the same week.

DU Admission 2018: Weightage For Sports Quota Admissions

  • Sports trial: 60 per cent weightage
  • Sports certificates: 40 per cent weightage

DU ADMISSIONS 2018: Eligibility for Sports Quota Admissions

  • Candidates who have only participation certificate at state or district level sports event would not be eligible.
  • Candidates who have secured some rank or position (either I, II, III) at district or state level sports competition would be eligible to apply under this quota

DU ADMISSIONS 2018: Certificates For Sports Quota Admissions

  • This year, sports category applicants are required to upload three best certificates instead of only one.

DU ADMISSIONS 2018: Separate Trials For Sports Quota Admissions

  • This admission trials will be conducted separately for male and females under various disciplines
  • About 60 trials will be conducted for 33 sports categories of games

DU ADMISSIONS 2018: Marks On Students' Dashboard For Sports Quota Admissions

  • As soon as the registration process gets closed, sports certificates uploaded by the candidates would be evaluated for marks.
  • After this, the marks would be uploaded to the individual dashboard provided to the students.
