Chandigarh B.Ed Entrance Exam on July 7

Application process for admission to B.Ed in Education Colleges of Chandigarh affiliated to PU has started. All the aspiring candidates can enroll for the entrance test before July 1. The entrance test will held on 14h Jul, 2018.

This will be the first time that an entrance exam is being held  for admission to Bed colleges of the city. Earlier the admission to these colleges were given on the basis of marks obtained in Graduation.

PU is  also holding an entrance exam for admission to B.Ed course in the colleges of eduction affiliated to GND University, Amritsar, Punjabi University Patiala and Punjab University. Entrance test for these colleges is scheduled to be held on July 5.

In colleges of Chandigarh 60% seats will be filled from the students who have completed their graduation from colleges recognized by Chandigarh administration and situated in Chandigarh as a regular student. Such students must have studied for two years for graduation in Chandigarh.

Candidates who have done their graduation/post-graduation through distance mode will be considered in 40% quota category.

Minimum qualifying marks will be 25% for General Category candidates and 20% for SC/ST candidates.
