CBSE CTET 2018 official notification released

Central Board of Secondary Education has released the official notification of Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2018. This year Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.

How to apply for CTET 2018?
Aspiring candidates can apply for CTET 2018 by visiting the official website and following the instructions given there

Steps to apply for CTET 2018

• Go to CTET official website, ctet.nic.in
• On the homepage, click on "Apply Online"
• Create your account and note down registration number or application number
• Complete the registration process
• Upload scanned images of photograph and signature in the space provided
• Complete the payment process by e-challan or debit/credit card
• Submit the same and take print out of the confirmation page.

CTET 2018 Application fee:

For General/OBC:

• Only paper 1 or 2: Rs 700
• Both paper 1 and 2: Rs 1200

For SC/ST/Differently abled:

• Only paper 1 or 2: Rs 350
• Both paper 1 and 2: Rs 600

CTET 2018 Paper pattern:
The CTET exam will have two papers. Paper I is for those candidates who are interested in teaching classes 1 to 5. Paper II is for those who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. If a candidate wishes to teach both classes, then they are required to sit for both paper I and II.

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked and four alternatives will be provided

There will be no negative marking.

• 21^st Jul, 2018 before 3:30 pm

Date of Availability of Admit card

Date of Entrance Exam

• 16^th Sep, 2018

The CBSE will conduct the test in 92 cities across the nation.
