OJEE 2018 (Special) application process starts

Application process for special Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has begun from Monday in the state.

Last date to apply for the test is July 13.

The special OJEE will be held on July 22 to fill up vacant B Tech, MBA and MCA seats in engineering and management colleges. Results will be published on July 25.

How to apply?

Aspiring candidates can visit the official website i.e www.ojee.nic.in and follow the instructions given there to apply for the same.

Candidates, who have already received rank in JEE Main 2018 for B Tech or OJEE 2018 for lateral entry to B Tech or MBA or MCA, are not required to appear the second or special OJEE.

Around 25,000 engineering seats out of 40,000 seats were lying vacant in different colleges last year in the state. Keeping the large number of vacancy in mind, this year several engineering colleges have reduced their seat strength by around 6,000 seats. So, admission will be held for around 34,000 seats this year.
