CAT 2018 Registration to end today

The registrations process for CAT 2018 will end today at 5 pm.  All the interested candidates can visit the official website i.e www.iimcat.ac.in till 5 pm to apply for the same.

The registration process was started by Indian Institute of Management on August 8, 2018 and had to conclude on September 19, 2018, but was later extended to September 26, 2018.

CAT 2018 will be held on November 25, 2018, and the candidates will be able to download the admit card for the exam from October 24, 2018 onwards.

How to register for CAT 2018?

• Visit the official website of IIM CAT, www.iimcat.ac.in
• Click the link 'New Candidate Registration.' on the home page
• Fill in the details and click on Generate OTP and click on Submit
• Get your User ID and password and then login on the homepage to fill the application form
• You will receive a registration number after form submission. Download and save the receipt for future reference.
• Edit the photographs after the submission of application

Select four cities for CAT 2018

The candidates will have to select any four test cities as per their preference from the drop-down menu while applying for CAT. After September 26, candidates will be allotted one among the four preferred cities subject to availability.

Registration Fee

• For SC, ST and PWD category: Rs 950
• Unreserved category: Rs 1900

CAT 2018 Paper pattern

There will be following sections in CAT 2018:

• Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
• Data Interpretation
• Logical Reasoning
• Quantitative Ability

CAT is the entrance examination for admission into the 20 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other business schools. There are about 3800 seats across the IIMs around the country. About 2,50,000 students apply for the CAT examination every year.
