Chhattisgarh State Service Exam 2018 dates released

The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has released an official notification for filling up 160 seats at various level.

Eligibility Conditions

Educational Qualification
Aspiring candidates should have a graduate degree from a recognised institute or varsity.

Age Limits

• For Deputy Superintendent of Police: Candidates should in the age group of 21 to 28 years.
• For other posts: Candidates should not exceed the maximum age limit of 30 years.

How to apply?
Aspiring candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the commission i.e psc.cg.gov.in and following the instructions given there.

Application Fees:

• For General category: Rs 400
• For Reserved category: Rs 300

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in preliminary examination followed by mains exam.

Preliminary Exam:
The preliminary examination will be objective type, having two compulsory papers of two hours duration.The question papers will have objective type multiple choice questions with five choices of answers for each question. Negative marking will be done for incorrect answers.

• First question paper:
  General Studies (Question 100, Marks 200, Duration - two hours), for each wrong answer 1/3 marks of correct answer will be deducted.
• Second question paper:
  Aptitude Test (Question 100, Marks 200, duration - two hours) for each incorrect answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.
