CSIR UGC NET 2018 Registrations date extended

CSIR has extended the Online registration of UGC NET 2018 till 17^th Oct, 2018.

Eligibility Conditions

Educational Qualification
All the candidates interested in applying need to possess a degree in MSc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/BTech/B.Pharma/MBBS with at least 55 per cent marks. For reserved category, it is 50 per cent.
BSc (Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD programme with at least 55 per cent marks can apply too.

Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 28 years as July 1, 2018. However, candidates from the reserved category will get age relaxation as per the government norms.

Meanwhile, there is no upper age limit for LS NET.

How to apply for CSIR UGC NET 2018?
Aspiring candidates can visit the official website of CSIR i.e csirhrdg.res.in and follow the instructions given there to apply for the same.

Paper Pattern
The exam will be a single paper to be held in morning and evening session. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) will be asked. The exam is conducted for life science, Earth science, Mathematical science, Chemical science, and Physical science
