The official notification of NTSE 2020 has been released. And various states and Union Territories of India have already started to release NTSE 2020 application forms from the first week of August 2019.
Here you should remember that the application for NTSE 2020 is done for stage 1 only. Those who qualify NTSE 2020 stage 1 exam will qualify for the NTSE stage 2.
Aspiring candidates can apply for Stage 1 of NTSE 2020 by downloading the application form of NTSE 2020 online or obtaining the same from the state liaison officer and submit the completely filled NTSE application form 2020 along with the application fee (if any) before the last date.
The last date for form submission will vary from state to state. Many states will release the application form online on the official website of SCERT while others will release offline applications.
Aspiring candidates should be studying in class 10th and scored grade B2 and above or 61% and above marks in Class IX examination (in the academic session 2018-19) and has been promoted to class X (in the academic session 2019-20). 5% relaxation in marks for students in SC and PH Category.
Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will also be eligible for the scholarship, provided the student is below the age of 18 years (as on 1st July of the particular year), the student is not employed and she/he is appearing in class X examination for the first time.
