CTET 2020 dates released

Central Board of Secondary education will conduct of Central Teacher Eligibility Test – CTET July 2020. The Test will be conducted in 20 languages in 112 cities all over the country

Eligibility Conditions

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

• Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
• “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)”

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

• Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education
• (B. Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
• Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Fee

Examination fees are as follows:

General/OBC

• Rs 1000/- paper I or II
• Rs 1200/- Both Paper I and II

SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person

• Rs 500/- Only paper I or II
• Rs 600/- Both Paper I and II

Important Dates

Last Date for submission of online application form

• 24^th February 2020 (Monday) up to 23.59 hrs

Last Date for submission of fee through E-Challan or Debit/Credit Card

• 27^th February 2020 (Thursday) before 15.30 hrs

Date of Examination

• 5th July, 2020 (Sunday)
