IIT, Madras HSSEE 2020 dates released

Indian Institute of Technology, Madras Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination acronym as IIT HSSEE is conducted by the IIT Madras for providing admission to a total of 46 seats of following given two-five years integrated Master of Arts programs i.e

Integrated M.A. Development Studies
Integrated M.A. English Studies

Eligibility Conditions

The final exam of the 10+2 system, conducted by a Central or State Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (www.aiuweb.org) OR
Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Exam conducted by a Board or University recognized by the Association of Indian Universities OR
The final exam of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy; senior secondary school exam conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects OR
Any Public School, Board or University Exam in India or in a foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) OR
HSC vocational examination OR
General Certificate Education (GCE) exam (London, Cambridge or Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level OR
High School Certificate Exam of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva

Age Limits

Candidate, whose date of birth falls on or after 1st October 1994 is eligible for HSEE-2020. However, in the case of SC/ST & PwD candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years.

Aspiring candidates can Apply Online by visiting the official website i.e. http://hsee.iitm.ac.in/ and following the instructions given there.

Fees

IIT Madras HSSE Exam Fee will be as follows:

For General & OBC (NCL) Male Rs.2000/-; Female Rs.1000/- and 3rd Gender candidates is Rs.2000/-
For SC/ST/PwD Candidates Male Rs.1000/-; Female Rs.1000/- and 3rd Gender candidates is Rs.1000/-

Candidates can fee through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/Indian Bank Challan that will be generated during the process of application. Additionally, the service charges of the Bank will be Rs.30/-
