Karnataka TET 2020: The School Education Department, Karnataka, has postponed the Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test 2020 due to the increasing cases of Coronavirus across the country.

According to the latest notification "The teacher eligibility test scheduled on April 11 has been postponed due to lockdown. The fresh date will be announced later”

KARTET 2020 Pattern

The Karnataka TET 2020 comprises of two papers Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12 noon and Paper-II will be conducted from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.

The paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark. There will be no negative marking. The medium of question paper other than the languages shall be in English, Kannada, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi.

Candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 5 in Karnataka schools will appear for KARTET Paper I and candidates who want to teach classes 6 to 8 will appear for KARTET Paper II. Those who want to teach all classes from Class 1 to 8 will have to appear for both the papers.
