CLAT 2020 on August 22 now, registration to end by 10th July

CLAT 2020: The Consortium of NLUs have released the new date for Common Law Admission Test 2020. After postponing CLAT 2020 three times, the new date for the national level entrance exam for admission to UG and PG law programmes is now 22nd August 2020.

All those students who still want to register can visit the official website i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in and follow the instructions to apply for the same till 10th July 2020.

According to the official release “The CLAT 2020 shall be conducted through a computer-based, online, centre-based test to be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020,”.

CLAT 2020 was earlier supposed to be held on 10th May 2020, which was later postponed to May 24. It was again postponed to June 21, 2020. The recent notification has mentioned the CLAT exam date as August 22, 2020.

CLAT 2020 Selection Process

A candidate for the LLM programme in CLAT 2020 will have to solve a total of 120 MCQ questions in two hours.

To pass the CLAT exam, one has to secure at least 40% per cent of marks for General Category candidate and 35% for reserved category candidates

CLAT 2020 Changes

This year there will be 150 questions instead of 200 questions asked the previous CLAT Exams.
