UPSC Geo-Scientist Prelims Exam 2020 dates released @ upsc.gov.in

UPSC CGSE 2020: The Union Public Service Commission has released the examination schedule of the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2020 on the official website. According to the official notification, UPSC Geo-Scientist Prelims Exam 2020 will be held on February 21, 2021, at various test centers across the country.

All the eligible candidates shall be issued a UPSC Geo-Scientist Prelims Exam 2020 e-admission certificate three weeks before the commencement of the Examination. The e-admission certificate will be made available on the UPSC website for downloading by candidates.

UPSC CGSE 2020: Exam Pattern

The Combined Geo-Scientist Examination will consist of three successive stages:

Stage-I: Computer-Based Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) having two papers for selection of the candidates for the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination.

Marks secured in the Preliminary Examination will be counted for deciding the final merit;

Stage-II: Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination (Descriptive Type) having three papers for selection of candidates for the Personality Test (Stage-III). Marks secured in the Main Examination will be counted for deciding the final merit; and Stage-III: Personality Test/Interview.
