SSC CHSL Exam 2020 application submission date extended to December 26

The Staff Selection Commission has extended the last for the application process of the recruitment of SSC combined higher secondary level (CHSL) exam 2020.

Now candidates can apply for the same till December 26 by visiting the official website i.e ssc.nic.in and following the instructions given there. Earlier, the last date of the application process was December 15.

Under the SSC CHSL 2020 recruitment, SSC will select candidates for 4726 vacancies, out of which 158 vacancies are for LDC/JSA/JPA, 3181 are for PA/SA, and 7 are for DEO posts.

SSC CHSL 2020: Eligibility Conditions

For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): Candidates must have passed the 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): Candidates must have passed 12th class exams in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Last date and time for receipt of online application:

• December 26, 2020 (23:30)

Last date and time for making online fee payment:

• December 21, 2020 (23:30)

Last date and time for generation of offline Challan:

• December 23, 2020 (23:30)

Last date for payment through Challan (during working hours of Bank):

• December 24, 2020

Schedule of Computer Based Examination (Tier-I):

• April 12 to 27, 2020

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200)
• Postal Assistant (PA)/Sorting Assistant (SA): Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100)
• Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5(Rs. 29,200-92,300)
• Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100)
