Joint Entrance Exam Advanced or JEE Advanced for admission to the premier Indian Institute of Technology will be conducted on July 3 2021 with the same relaxation in eligibility criteria as the previous year.
For JEE Advanced 2021 also the eligibility criteria of scoring 75% marks in the 12 class have been waived off. Earlier for admission to IITs apart from qualifying the JEE advanced candidates were usually required to secure either a minimum of 75% marks in class board exams or rank among the top 20 percentile in their qualifying exam.
This year authorities have decided to shortlist 2,50,000 candidates including all categories from JEE Main to appear for JEE advanced. In 2020 a little over 1,60,000 students took the JEE Advanced.
Where JEE Mains is conducted by the NTA. The JEE Advanced is usually conducted by any one of the 23 IITs. And JEE Advance 2021 will be conducted by any of the one IITs.
JEE Advanced may be held in UAE, Bangladesh, Nepal and Singapore.
